View BioChris Kornman, one of the principals and the head of day-to-day operations of Entablature, is a third generation builder who has been around construction his whole life. After earning a Ph.D. in psychology, Chris spent the next ten years working for a regional builder, where he created a division that specialized in renovating old New Orleans homes. Utilizing the vast experience and knowledge gained from both his psychology and construction training, Chris decided to form his own company. Backed by an outstanding construction and sales staff, with equal amounts of experience, Chris Kornman has earned a reputation for outstanding quality, creativity, and disciplined attention to completion schedules and budgets.
Chris lives Uptown with his wife Arian and their children Ainsley and Noah.
Scott Logan is a principal and manages all of Entablature’s finance and accounting functions, as well as all of the company’s legal matters. Scott is a licensed attorney and a member of the state bar associations of both Louisiana and Georgia. He earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard and his JD and MBA from Emory University in Atlanta. Scott’s career began in New Orleans in the offices of Columbus Properties under the tutelage of Joseph Canizaro, and he has been in the real estate industry ever since. He has developed office space, retail space, apartments, student housing, single-family residential houses, and subdivisions throughout the Southeast. Scott is the a member of the board of Tapestry Public Charter School and serves as the board's treasurer, and he formerly served as President and as a member of the Board of Echo Ridge Recreation Club.
Scott lives in Atlanta with his wife Kristen and his sons Stiles and Simeon, but he is in New Orleans frequently enough that the Pontchartrain Hotel feels like a second home to him.
Jason Klein is the Director of Construction for Entablature, overseeing all projects from conception to completion. Day to day, this includes inspecting all job sites, creating and monitoring all schedules as well as managing all workflow of project managers, subcontractors and vendors. Jason's early experience in the construction industry began at the age of 15 working for his aunt and uncle's construction company. Eventually all paths led to opening his own construction company, Circa Builders, in 2006. Circa evolved over the years to become a successful commercial and residential builder in the city. In 2016, Circa and Entablature joined forces. Jason and his wife Nicole live in Lakeview with their children Sidney, Betti and Hazel.
Francesca is the Director of Sales and Marketing for Entablature. She moved to New Orleans in 2004 to attend graduate school at Tulane University. While completing a master’s in communication, Francesca joined the sales team of a regional production builder, where she sold over 300 homes. Based on her ten years of experience in the real estate and construction industries, in 2013, Francesca was asked to become the exclusive real estate agent for Entablature and since then she has been responsible for acquisition and sales of all of Entablature’s investment projects. She also helps guide Entablature’s clients through the construction process and facilitates the finish selections process.
Francesca is a licensed real estate agent with C Kornman, LLC and is available to help buyers and sellers with their real estate needs.
Francesca is originally from Atlanta and now lives in the Irish Channel with her partner David and their daughter Elliotte and son Truman.
Doug Hebert is a Project Manager at Entablature. He was born and raised in the New Orleans area. At the young age of 15 Doug assisted his father in his first residential construction project. For twelve years Doug worked as a millwork fabricator, installer and field supervisor for Booth Architectural. From 2007-2016, Doug served as the project manager for Circa Builders where he completed over 60 residential projects as well as multiple restaurants and light commercial buildings throughout New Orleans. Doug joined Entablature in 2016. His experience as a project manager and his extensive knowledge of millwork and iron work have been a tremendous benefit the Entablature team and our clients. Doug is a new father and lives in Terrytown with his wife Lori and their infant son Caleb.
Bruce Smith is a Project Manager with Entablature. Bruce was raised in the midwest before joining the Navy in 2000. As part of his 10 year military service ( 5 years active duty, 5 reserve ) he was attached to NMBC 7, a mobile construction battalion that specializes in all types of construction in hostile environments. His deployments include, 3x Iraq, 2x Afghanistan, Spain, Cuba, and the Virgin Islands. Upon leaving active duty in 2006, Bruce took his building and project management skills to New Orleans, where he has flipped and built custom homes throughout the metro area. His military background taught him to excel in meeting deadlines and budgets while maintaining a critical attention to detail.
Bruce lives on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with his wife Jennifer and their two children Easton and Presleigh.
Charlie Favrot is an assistant project manager at Entablature. His responsibilities include maintaining job site cleanliness and organization, securing materials, helping with the resolution of warranty requests, and assisting project managers with their duties.
Charlie enjoys fishing and hunting, hanging out with friends, and listening to music. He was born and raised in Kenner, LA.
